How does Spacebooks-Online work?
  • Search by category listings, or use the simple/advanced search masks to find the items you want to buy.
  • Click 'Add To Cart' for each item you want.
  • If you want to buy more than one of an item, input the new quantity in the Qty Product field and click 'Update'.
  • If you need to shop for more items, then click on 'Continue shopping'.
  • When you have added the last item you need, click on 'Check Out' and login following the instructions. New customers can at this point click on 'Continue' located in the 'New Customer' box in order to register.
  • After the final submit, you will be asked to login to your PayPal account to complete the payment process.

What happens when I place an order?
After your order has been placed you will receive an email confirming the order and giving you an order number. If you do not receive an email straight away then check that the order was actually successful (login and check your order status). You will also receive an email when your order has been shipped.

Do you have a catalogue?
We do not produce a paper catalogue. All our products are listed online only.

How do I contact you?

Why am I experiencing some trouble with my shopping cart?
  • Cookies are not enabled on your browser.
  • The master clock on the computer is not set correctly.
  • The terminal you are using is behind a firewall.
  • The item you are trying to purchase is sold out, or there is lesser quantity than you wish to purchase.
  • Your browser is not supported.

What should I do if an item is delivered damaged?
If the item appears to be damaged straight from the manufacturer, please send an email to Be sure to include a description of the damage and your full contact information.

What should I do if an item is missing from my order?
It is possible that an item did not make it into the shopping cart or that it is being shipped separately. Check your orders via the website and verify that the item is in your order. There should also be a comment concerning the shipping. If in doubt, send us email at

Does Spacebooks-Online pay for the return shipping of defective merchandise?
The customer pays for shipping to Spacebooks-Online and we pay for the shipping back to you. We will use every measure to ensure that you will be able to get the item replaced promptly.

Does Spacebooks-Online deliver to APO or FPO addresses?
No, we do not deliver to APO/FPO at this time.

Why was my order sent in multiple packages when it could have all fit into one box?
It may have been that an item wasn't available at the time of mailing, or that the items were in multiple locations. In any case, you are billed the shipping fee as calculated during the checkout process.

If I refuse a package, or if my order is somehow returned to Spacebooks-Online, what happens next?
If the shipment is 'returned to shipper', Spacebooks-Online will receive the packages back and then credit the customer for the order less the shipment costs.

Are shipping costs added cumulatively for each item I order or do they reduce when multiple items are purchased?
The shipment cost is calculated on the total weight of the shipment.

Does Spacebooks-Online accept phone, fax, email or surface mail orders?
We only accept email orders. Please send your contact information to the email address below. Our customer service will contact you to process your order.

I did not receive an order confirmation. Was my order submitted successfully?
If you did not receive a confirmation on the order however successfully clicked the last submit button, most likely our server received your order but communication back to your PC was interrupted. Please do NOT replace the order on-line. If you do, you may end up with duplicate orders and both being charged since we use an automatic computer system. Contact us (see end of this page for contact information), to make sure your order was received.

I am concerned that I may have inadvertently placed a duplicate order. What should I do now?
Contact us immediately (see contact information at the end of this page). We will void the order for you as long as it has not invoiced and/or shipped. If the duplicate order has already been shipped, you will be refunded per our refused packaged rules when the order is returned to Spacebooks-Online.

After I submit an order with Spacebooks-Online, how will I be advised of the order's progress?
Spacebooks-Online will do everything possible to keep you informed of your order via email. You will receive an update via an email from us when your order is being processed and again when it has been shipped. You can also log into our website and check your order.

Can I add, change or remove items from my order after it has been submitted?
No, once an order is submitted it can only be amended or edited by emailing us (see contact information at the end of this page). Once an item has been shipped, it cannot be voided.

Approximately how long does it generally take to process an order?
It takes five business days at most for us to process an order before it ships. Once the order has shipped, your estimated time of arrival will be determined normal postal carrier times.

Does Spacebooks-Online offer volume discounts?
We do not offer wholesale pricing for retailers.

What happens if/when an item is backordered?
If an item is found to be out of stock after the order is placed, the item will be placed on backorder and the remaining items will be shipped. We do not hold up the order because an item is backordered. Your will not be charged for the shipping cost of the item when it is back in stock and shipped.
