BR-321 Rosetta Living with a Comet
15 September 2015
In August 2014, Rosetta became the first mission to rendezvous with and subsequently orbit a comet, and in November 2014 it became the first to soft-land a probe on a comet nucleus. Philae sent back data and images of its surroundings before falling into hibernation. Rosetta continues to make observations covering the whole comet, while the mission team continue working in hopes of further operations on the surface.
